The Taste of the Coast has proved itself as “The Family Fun Event of the Year” in North Myrtle Beach, SC. We are looking to build a partnership with more corporate sponsors to aid in the cost of this event.
The primary objective of this event is to raise scholarship and operating funds to benefit the students of Risen Christ Lutheran School through the support and efforts of the Coastal Culinary Community. Risen Christ Lutheran School never denies admittance to a student based upon their family’s economic situation. Proceeds will go to support the Eagle Fund which is a scholarship vehicle established to assist families in need, especially in our current economic times. We also work in conjunction with Barefoot Landing in organizing a food drive for the North Strand Helping Hand. Last year we raised over 1,000 lbs of food on the day of the event in support of this very necessary community service. Not only will it bring public awareness and attention to the school, but also to Barefoot Landing, the city of North Myrtle Beach, and all the participants and sponsors.
Sponsors will have their logos attached to any and all of our printed materials. We have advertisements in many periodicals as well as full color posters and flyers posted throughout our community. There will be printed maps with sponsorship logos given out to attendees of this event and banners placed at strategic points throughout the city. We also have radio and television commercials in production.
