10th Annual Taste of the Coast

The mission of Taste of the Coast is to partner with the community in providing students with Christian educational opportunities through a quality fellowship event in cooperation with Risen Christ’s mission and vision.
Risen Christ has been a member of the community since its founding in 1976 and is a member of the largest protestant, parochial school system in the United States. A number of successful local businessmen and women have either attended the school or enrolled their children in its excellent academic programs. The Eagle Fund is the scholarship program established to assist families seeking an alternative to other local schooling options. As a result of the Eagle Fund’s existence, Risen Christ is able to tell inquiring families that no child in need will be turned away.
The Taste of the Coast is located at the House of Blues, Barefoot Landing, Myrtle Beach. This event not only benefits the students at Risen Christ, but it is an excellent avenue to expose the wonderful and creative local fare offered along the Grand Strand. We want to give a SPECIAL THANKS to all of our “PLATINUM” Restaurants (Bimini’s, Dick’s Last Resort, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Castano’s Italian Steakhouse, House of Blues & Spring House Restaurant) for the gift of all their proceeds from the 2016 Taste of the Coast back to Risen Christ Christian Academy. We look forward to their participation in 2017 as well as many returning restaurants and new faces!
